At Disneyland Paris, Urbasolar, a French solar developer, has completed a massive PV Carport , making it the largest PV Carport in Europe.
The 36.1 MW PV Carport covers 11,200 parking spaces and provides solar power to all the electricity needs of the theme park, with no self-consumption, all sold to 3rd party.
The project, launched in 2020, was carried out under a co-investment partnership between Urbasolar and Disneyland Paris. The approximately 82,000 solar panels have been deployed in parking spaces for light vehicles.
